When to use each model: Google Gemini 3 Pro for long conversations and deep reasoning, Gemini 2.5 Flash for fast and lightweight work, Anthropic Claude 4 Opus for deep reasoning and complex analysis, Claude 4.5 Sonnet for balanced all-purpose tasks, Claude 4.5 Haiku for speed, OpenAI GPT-5.1 for fast adaptive reasoning, and GPT-5 mini as a balanced generalist.

Full transparency

Quickly see which model you're using in your prompt and how much conversation space remains by referencing the ring indicator—it shows usage at a glance and we recommend starting a new chat when it's full for best results.

Experience a more transparent Sofie, with "Thinking" steps that detail Sofie's thought process through thorough analysis of complex problems or fast responses for everyday tasks depending on the model—so you understand exactly how Sofie arrived at her answer.

Conversation History Search

Enhancements to CoDraft

We've added new functionality to make CoDrafts more flexible and collaborative.

• Real-time co-editing: Edit alongside Sofie simultaneously—true collaborative authoring where you both work on the same document in real time.

• Document-to-email switching: Convert a document to an email draft (or vice versa) without starting over, so you can adapt your content as needs change.

• Email signatures and attachments: Embed your signature and attach files directly within CoDraft emails—send polished, professional emails without leaving Sofie.

• Connected conversations: Jump between your document and the conversation that built it, so you never lose the thinking behind your work.

Performance fixes and improvements

Every detail matters when you’re doing critical work in Sofie, so we’ve fixed and improved dozens of small details. We’re also refreshing and polishing different areas of the product to make it easier and more enjoyable to use, including updated item counts and drag-and-drop in workspaces and enhancing the ability to extract data from images in chat.
